The ‘Bravery Box’

When admitted to the hospital, a child encounters many new and unfamiliar things. While examinations, procedures, and tests are essential for successful medical treatment, they can be very uncomfortable and scary for the child.

To support these little heroes through necessary medical procedures without tears and prolonged persuasion, the ‘Bravery Box’ comes to their aid.

The ‘Bravery Box’ is a special container filled with magical gifts to celebrate the kids’ courage. Every child undergoing a procedure knows that after extending their hand to the nurse for blood tests or any other manipulation, they will be able to choose a gift as a reward for their bravery and patience.

The mission of the 'Bravery Boxes' is to empower these young patients and contribute to their healing process!

To ensure that the ‘Bravery Box’ is always filled with a required variety of toys and helps young patients in children's hospitals overcome their fears, we need to put 300-500 small toys in each box every month. Currently, we have 30 such ‘Bravery Boxes’, so we require a significant number of toys.

Join us in filling the ‘Bravery Boxes’, and your generosity will aid children in conquering their fears.

What is needed for this?

✅ Purchase a small toy, without sharp details, that can fit in a child's hand, and send it to us at the following address: Lviv, Nova Poshta branch №24, Charitable Foundation ‘KRYLA NADIYI’ (БФ “КРИЛА НАДІЇ”), +380 730 083 732.

✅ Initiate a toy collection or fundraising at your workplace and donate toys or funds to the Foundation.

✅ Make a charitable contribution with the payment purpose ‘Bravery Box’ to the Foundation's details at https://www.krylanadiyi.org.ua/info/rekvizyty, and with the funds collected, we will prepare bravery boxes for children in hospitals.

What toys can be placed in the Bravery Box?

Toys should be new, small (i.e. fit in a child's hand, 7*7 cm), and safe (i.e. without sharp edges, made of quality materials, without any odors). These can include small planes/cars/motorcycles, ponies, various animals, small colorful balls, dolls/doll figures/figurines, popular cartoon characters, puzzles, and mobile phone charms.

IMPORTANT!!! Please do not bring toys directly to the hospital.

Everyone has the power to bring a smile to a child’s face because a fully stocked ‘Bravery Box’ ensures an entire month without fear for the little heroes we take care of.

Your generosity helps children overcome their fears!
